Following the success of the Full Monty, the Blaenau Gwent Young Stars senior section has chosen to perform West Side Story as their next production in February 2009. This well loved musical is based on the Shakespeare Story of 'Romeo and Juliet'. The Society will be holding open auditions for this production at their base in Garfield Terrace on Sunday 27 July starting at 3 p.m. Anyone interested in staring in this production is asked to contact the Producer - Craig James for further information on 07972427104. The auditions are open to anyone aged between 15 and 25 years of age. The Society is also looking for chorus members for this production and further information is available from the producer.
Clubbing
The Garnlydan Club has not been sold or is it closed for refurbishment. The freeholders of the Garnlydan club are still based in Scotland and the club is open for business as normal as it has always been. Please ignore the rumour mongers who have ill-founded information. I look forward to seeing all those who have not been at the Garnlydan for some time again soon. Thank you Stacey Hill manager
